J&K BJP Stages Massive Protest, Declares “June 25, 1975, as ‘Black Day”

Srinagar, June 25::The J&K chapter of the BJP staged a massive protest here in Srinagar, marking June “25, 1975, as a black day in the country’s history”.
“This date signifies when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency in J&K, citing a conspiracy against her. BJP leaders, emphasized that this day will always be remembered as a dark chapter in India’s history,”J&K BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur said.
