DC Bandipora for strict action against encroachers

BANDIPORA, JUNE11: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Ravinder Kumar, warned of strict action against the persons, who have encroached upon state land and Kahcharai in the district and asked the revenue officers to ensure that the land is retrieved at earliest.

This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner while inspecting the banks of Wullar lake after receiving some complaints about encroachment made on state land  during lockdown period.   

Mr. Kumar directed the officers to act tough against encroachers and retrieve the land as soon as possible. He said strict action will be initiated against the persons who took and are taking advantage of the ongoing lockdown and encroached upon the state land.

He reiterated and directed the revenue officers to identify the encroachments made at various places of the district and retrieve the land from encroachers with using all resources.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildar Bandipora and other senior officers of the district.
