SRINAGAR, JULY 16: In preparation for the 10th Muharram processions, District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, visited the Gulshan Bagh Hawal area to review the arrangements for a smooth and peaceful event.
Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Syed Ahmad Kataria and other senior police and civil administration officers, the DC inspected the measures taken to facilitate mourners and ensure the hassle-free conduct of the processions.
During the visit, Dr. Bhat met with representatives of the Shia community to discuss the arrangements and facilities provided for the mourners. He was joined by the Joint Commissioner of SMC, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineers from R&B, PHE, PDD, and UEED, the Chief Sanitation Officer, and other officials from various departments.
