BJP likely to finalize J&K Assembly Poll candidates today; ‘Ram Madhav arrives in Jmu for crucial Meeting’

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KINS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to finalize its candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections today, marking a key moment in the party’s strategic planning for the region.
As per media reports the BJP leader Ram Madhav is expected to land in Jammu shortly, where he will chair a crucial meeting to finalize the panels for each Assembly constituency.
“Panels for each of the constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir will be forwarded to the BJP headquarters in New Delhi later today. The final decision on candidates will rest with the National Election Committee, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
“BJP is fully prepared to contest the upcoming J&K Assembly polls with a strong strategy and the right candidates. Today’s meeting will ensure that we put forward the best possible names for each constituency,” a senior BJP leader said ahead of the deliberations.
Ram Madhav’s meeting in Jammu will play a pivotal role in finalizing the list. “This is a crucial moment for the party. We are considering every factor carefully before making our decisions,” a BJP leader added.
The National Election Committee will announce the final list of candidates soon after these deliberations conclude.(KINS)
