Police Inaugurates Week-Long Football Tournament Under the Civic Action Programme 2024-2025 in Srinagar
Srinagar, Feb 15 (KINS):The District Police Srinagar inaugurated a week-long football tournament today at Polo View, Srinagar, as part of the Civic Action Programme 2024-2025. The event aims to promote sports and encourage youth participation in constructive activities, leading to well-rounded development.
As part of the programme, four teams comprising football players from across the district are participating. During the inauguration, uniforms were distributed to the participating teams, emphasizing the values of teamwork and discipline.
The opening day also featured two competitive matches, where young football players showcased their skills and enthusiasm, setting a promising tone for the tournament.
