Grand Mufti fixes Sadqa Fitr at Rs 75

Srinagar, March 10 (KINS): Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, has fixed the amount of Sadqa Fitr at Rs 75 for this year.
Addressing the media on Monday, he urged people to ensure that this obligatory charity reaches those in need. “Sadqa Fitr should be given to the poor before Eid so that they can also celebrate the festival with dignity,” he said, according to news agency KINS.
He stated the importance of helping the underprivileged, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan. (KINS)
