People of J&K have to struggle for restoration of Art 370, says Mehbooba Mufti after her release

KINS Desk

Srinagar Oct 14: After remaining under detention for 14 months, former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said Jammu and Kashmir will have to struggle for the restoration of article 370.

In her audio message minutes after her release, she said people of J&K have to struggle for the restoration of article 370, which was abrogated by the Centre on August 5 last year.

She was under detention since August 5 last year.

She termed August 5  a “black day” and said that decision was hurting her during her detention.

Mehbooba said people of J&K also felt the same way.

“None of us can ever forget the black dacoity and humiliation of that day,” she said. “We have to fight what have been snatched from us unconstitutionally and undemocratically,” she said.

She called for the release of all political detainees of J&K.
