Mushroom Units of district Baramulla Inspected

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 06; Senior Scientist Mushrooms Nasir Ahmad Lone and Mushroom Specialist Ghulam Mohammad Mir, along with a team of officers from Mushroom Development Scheme today visited Baramulla district and inspected various Mushroom Units established by growers under Capex Budget.

While interacting with the farmers,Nasir Ahmad Lone said that the department is committed to give boost to Mushroom sector by providing financial support on equipments         and raw material besides providing technical support so that the mushroom cultivation is done on scientific lines and thus provide an opportunity for increasing the income of mushroom growers. He said the department is committed to organise awareness programmes for young and unemployed youths of the valley so that the mushroom sector is given expansion and more and more growers are brought towards this sector.
