LG Manoj Sinha visits Jammu Kashmir’s first Chrysanthemum theme Garden at Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 01 (KINS):Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited Jammu and Kashmir’s first Chrysanthemum Theme Garden at the Botanical Garden in Srinagar.

Spread over 100 kanals, the garden has been developed by the Department of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks as a major autumnal floral attraction for both locals and tourists. The theme garden features a vibrant display of chrysanthemum varieties, offering a unique experience that enhances Srinagar’s reputation as a city of gardens and lakes.

The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lt Governor;  Zubair Ahmad, Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens; Akshay Labroo, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar; and other senior officials.(KINS)
