JAMMU, NOV 22 (KINS): Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, today visited the J&K Police Security Wing Headquarters in Sidhra, Jammu, where he inaugurated the newly renovated Conference-cum-Training Hall, marking a significant upgrade to the Wing’s infrastructure.
Following the inauguration, the DGP chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Security Wing. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Security, Sujit Kumar Singh, briefed the DGP on the operational framework, ongoing initiatives, and overall functioning of the Wing.
The DGP appreciated the Security Wing for conducting regular refresher training courses to enhance the skills and readiness of its personnel. He also instructed the Security Transport Workshop to ensure timely servicing and repair of escort vehicles, stressing the importance of maintaining a reliable security setup.
The meeting was attended by senior officers, including ADGP Headquarters M.K. Sinha, ADGP Armed Anand Jain, IGP Jammu B.S. Tuti, IGP Railways Vivek Gupta, and IGP Traffic Sulaiman Salaria, among others.
