BJP leaders urged to spread awareness about welfare schemes

Srinagar, April 15 (KINS): Senior BJP leader Ashok Koul called on party members to play a bigger role in informing people about government welfare schemes during meetings held in Srinagar.

The meetings, organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party, included leaders from different party cells and former corporators of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation. Several senior leaders like Anwar Khan, Arif Raja, Mudasir Wani, Billal Parray and Sajid Yousuf Shah were also present.

Speaking at the meeting, Ashok Koul said that party cells and former corporators both have important roles at the grassroots level. He explained that cells help reach different sections of society, while former corporators bring experience and direct connection with the public.

He asked party workers to stay active among people, listen to their problems, and act as a link between the government and citizens. He also stressed spreading awareness about welfare schemes launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that benefits reach everyone who is eligible.

Koul added that the BJP is working for overall development in Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on transparency and good governance. He urged leaders to clearly communicate the party’s vision to the public.

Other leaders also spoke about the need for teamwork and active participation to strengthen the party’s presence across the region. (KINS)
