Srinagar April 18(KINS): SSP Bandipora, Ajaz Ahmed Zargar, chaired a joint security review meeting at the Conference Hall of DPL Bandipora to assess the overall security situation in the district and review the existing arrangements.
The meeting was attended by officers from 3rd Battalion CRPF, 45 Battalion CRPF, 14 RR, 13 RR and 27 Assam Rifles, besides officials from other intelligence agencies. Additional SP Bandipora and other senior district police officers were also present.
During the meeting, the officers discussed the current security situation, deployment plans, monitoring of sensitive areas, sharing of intelligence and better coordination among all security agencies.
SSP Bandipora stressed the need for strict vigilance, stronger security presence in vulnerable areas and close coordination among all agencies to deal with any emerging security challenges in the district.(KINS)
