Tral, October 24 (KINS): Amid incidents of human-wildlife conflict, the Wildlife Department on Saturday distributed compensation cheques among affected people at Shikargah in Tral.
MLA Tral Rafiq Ahmad Naik attended the event as the chief guest. Wildlife Warden Shopian-Pulwama Sohail Ahmad Wagay and other department officials were also present.
During the event, compensation cheques were handed over to people affected by human-wildlife conflict.
The department also issued important advisories, urging people to adopt precautionary measures to minimise such incidents and ensure the safety of both humans and wildlife. (KINS)
