Voting begins for bypoll to Jind assembly constituency in Haryana

In Haryana, voting has begun for bypoll to Jind assembly constituency. Voting, which began at 7 AM will continue till 5 PM. A total of 21 candidates are in the fray. The bypoll was necessitated following the death of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLA Hari Chand Middha in August last year.

Prominent among the candidates include Krishan Middha of BJP, Randeep Singh Surjewala of Congress and Umed Singh Redhu of INLD. Counting of votes will take place on 31st of this month.
