On the occasion, the observers viz Gamli Padu, Sandeep Pundrik, Dr P Shakeel Ahmad, Dr Krishna Kanth Pathak and Amrish Kumar took a detailed overview of the constituency wherein the Returing officer presented the electoral statistics through a power point presentation.
Meanwhile, a threadbare discussion with regard to the necessary arrangements put in place was held wherein emphasis was laid on fostering coordination among different agencies so that polls are conducted in hassle free manner.
Moreover, Concerned SSPs of Baramulla and Sopore briefed the house about the security arrangements already made for the safety and security of contesting candidates, voters and others directly or indirectly associated with the elections. The meeting also discussed details of polling stations, locations with regard to accessibility, telecom connectivity, infrastructure, vulnerability and other related issues during which concerned authorities gave briefing about the same.
