‘Had supported PDP in good faith in Kashmir, but they remained in clutches of Jamaat-e-Islami agenda’

Union Finance minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley has said that ‘terrorism’ will not be accepted in the valley and that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) supported PDP in good faith.

Jaitley while taking to his Twitter handle said that the NDA had supported in good faith a regime of mainstream party in Jammu and Kahsmir ” NDA supported in good faith a regime of the mainstream party in the State. But PDP remained in the clutches of Jamaat-e-Islami agenda. Thereafter, Central govt., for the last few months, has sent a clear message that terrorism will not be accepted in the Valley,” He tweeted.

Hitting out at the Congress party Jaitley said that the party had committed a historical blunder when they whisked away the issue of Pakistan not reconciling to Kashmir being part of India, “The Congress Party is identified with the creation of the problem itself. When Pakistan did not reconcile to Kashmir being a part of India, the Congress Party whisked the issue away. It was its historical blunder on account of which we lost one-third of our territory.”
