GMC Anantnag gets 100 MBBS seats: Principal secretary Health & Medical education Attal Dullo

 

Anantnag, May 24th: The Anantnag administrative department has got confirmation from apex body of Medical Council of India (MCI) through email whereby it has been confirmed that Govt Medical College Anantnag (GMC Anantnag) is getting letter of permission (LOP) for admission to 100 MBBS seats from current academic session.

Principal secretary Attal Dullo confirmed this to GNS that Goverment of India has granted permission for Medical college Anantnag for the upcoming NEET 2019-2020 academic session.

He further said that 100 MBBS students will be taken for upcoming session.

Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Anantnag, Dr Majid Mirab alao confirmed to news agency about the GOI granting letter for permission for Medical college Anantnag for upcoming NEET 2019-2020 session.

Meanwhile Employees of the district hospital Anantnag today thanked the Advisor to Govt. Of Jammu and Kashmir, K Vijay Kumar and Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education, Attal Dullo for their tremendous and dedicated role in acheiving this historic feat.

GMC Anantnag will emerge as best Medical Institute and tertiary care centre, employees of district hospital said.(GNS)
