Covid-19 Scare in J&K, Admin alert, Now SKIMS cancels Leaves to its employees.

Srinagar, March 13 (KINS): Amid growing scare of coronavirus in J&K, Authorities have alerted the medical institutions as a part of precautionary measures and also established the helpline numbers in various parts of the valley to safeguard people from COVID-19 threat.

Day before WHO has declared Coronavirus as a pandemic, spread to more than 120 countries. Fueling the fear in financial markets and towns and cities the world over is the simple fact that four months after it first started making headlines, the COVID-19 disease retains an aura of mystery. With vastly different figures in various countries, it still isn’t clear how deadly the disease is, how easily it spreads, or how many undetected cases may be lurking around the world.

Meanwhile, keeping a close eye over the growing scare, the SKIMS canceled the leaves to its employees, which will let them provide uninterrupted medical services to the general public in J&K.

Sources in SKIMS told (KINS), that, taking a serious note of the spread of coronavirus like symptoms cases in J&K. we are ready to handle emergencies. Added, men and machinery are quite active to tackle the deadly COVID-19 and making sure that we can contain and prevent the spreading of the virus in J&K.

Health Expert in a chat with KINS appealed people to be alert and take immediate medical assistance whenever they found suffering from severe fever, cold and cough. Also commented that frequent Air travelers must be very careful and take medical aid, also said that there is nothing to worry about the rising concern of Covid-19 if proper measures are taken on time.

With a number of Covid-19 positive cases rapidly increasing in India, the Kashmir Govt already took an important measure to tackle this virus and ordered closure all Govt and private educational institutions including Colleges and Universities. (KINS)
