Two Nurses Among 13 test positive; JK COVID-19 tally rises to 836

Srinagar, May 09 (KINS) : Two staff nurses among thirteen  persons on Saturday tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir taking the total toll of positive cases for this deadly virus in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 836.

A health official told news agency KINS that 13 persons tested positive for COVID-19 and among two staff nurses also became victim of this deadly virus.

Official said, adding that total 6 persons tested positive at chest disease hospital Srinagar in which two from Srinagar, one from Awantipora Pulwama and three persons from Super Speciality Hospital Shireen Bagh including two staff nurses and an attendant of a patient from Shopian village.

The officer while sharing today’s COVID summary from SKIMS said, total six persons tested positive for COVID-19 which including four persons from Ganderbal District and two from Handwara.

The officer added that earlier this day a positive case of COVID-19 was reported from Basoli belt in Kathua district.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir stands now at 836.(KINS)
