KUPWARA, JUNE 03: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat today reviewed functioning of Rural Development Department.
On the occasion, the DPO delivered a detailed power point presentation about physical and financial status of various developmental works undergoing in the district.
The BDC chairpersons apprised the chair about various issues being faced by them while delivering governance at doorsteps of the people and the issues raised included liabilities of works executed under various developmental schemes like MGNREGA and 14th F.C.
The ADDC gave a patient hearing to the issues of BDCs and assured them about resolution of their genuine demands, he directed the concerned officers to look into their issues and provide concrete solution on fast-track basis.
He also impressed upon the concerned to release pending liabilities under various schemes to the concerned beneficiaries.
Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), District Panchayat Officer (DPO), BDC Chairmen, Sarpanchs and other concerned were present in the meeting.
