One body fished out from river Sindh, efforts on for other

Srinagar, July 06 (KINS) : The teams of Police, SDRF this morning retrieved the body of one of the two drowned youth from the river Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, while efforts are on to fish out the other body.

An official told Kashmir Indepth News Agency (KINS) that teams are continuing its search to fish out body of other youth, he said after hectic efforts one body was retrieved this morning.

The officer said the body of Zahid Farooq Rather was retrieved, while efforts are on to fish out the body of Rashid Khan.

Pertinently, On Sunday two boys drowned in nallah Sindh at Kichpora Kangan while bathing.

Locals present there raised an alarm, following which a team of police reached there and carried out a rescue operation to retrieve the bodies of the duo.(KINS)
