Baramulla authorities issues SOPs for marriage functions

Only 8 people allowed, no big gathering

Srinagar, July 11(KINS): Amid surge in Covid-19 cases, the administration in Baramulla has ordered Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for marriage functions, wherein, authorities has now allowed only 8 people for marriage functions and no gatherings.


In an order copy, which lies with KINS reads, “It is for the information of general Public of Baramulla town that the situation of Baramulla Town is very much panic due to spread of positive cases of COVID-19 from last four days, so it has become necessary to implement the Baramulla Town according to SOPs.


“In view of above it is hereby ordered that henceforth during any function/marriage only 08 guests are allowed to participate. No gathering of any kind shall be allowed till further orders. Any deviation in aforesaid order shall viewed seriously and the defaulters shall be put to task besides a fine shall be imposed”, the order copy reads.(KINS)
