PaK origin brides ask Govt to deport them back

Srinagar, Dec 4 (KINS): Pakistan origin Kashmiri brides on Monday asked the Govt to deport them to Pakistan-administered Kashmir when they are not being considered citizens of India.
Addressing a press conference here, they said the Pakistan embassy is writing to Indian authorities every month, seeking permission to the women to visit their homes.
“GOI should allow us to return home to meet our families. The Government here doesn’t consider us as its citizens; why we are not deported back to our residential places,” they said.
“We have knocked almost all the doors but no one is concerned about us. When a Pak origin Kashmiri bride Somiya Sadaf contested the elections recently, she was allowed to do so. But, when we raised our voices, the government without any reason stopped counting on the seat,” they said.
Bushra, one among the Pak origin women questioned why her nomination form was accepted initially when she had done anything wrong. “Government should deport us back to PaK as we are not being considered as citizens,” she said. (KINS)
