Attempt to usurp govt structure foiled in Gandoh

DODA, JULY 08( KINS ): An attempt to usurp Government structure (property) was foiled by the timely intervention of local administration in Block Chilly Pingal of Gandoh subdivision.

A complaint was received that the accused usurper- reportedly an ex-Sarpanch, on his own, started construction work on the incomplete Common Facilitation Centre (CFC) at model village Batoli after which the local administration swung into action and took over the possession of the structure and demolished the portion which was being raised by him (accused).

Under the supervision of SDM Gandoh, Pritam Lal Thapa, a joint team of Revenue, RDD and Police demolished the illegally raised construction

Earlier, the matter was brought to the notice of SDM by BDO Chilly Pingal on 6th July 2021. On the same day, the SDM issued directions to Tehsildar Gandoh, BDO Chilly Pingal and SDPO Gandoh to take action against the Ex Sarpanch.

It is pertinent to mention here that the CFC building is being constructed by RDD in Model Village Batholi.

The land for the CFC has been donated by a local person Mir Qasim. ( KINS )
