India, Pakistan armies exchange fire on LoC in Poonch

Indian and Pakistani armies on Thursday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu.

Reports said that the exchange of fire and the shells started in Khari Karmara area of the district at around 04:30 am in the morning and continued till 6.30 a.m.
“They used small arms and automatics to target Indian positions. Our troops retaliated strongly and effectively,” an official said.

However, no casualty or damage was reported.
