Rajouri , JUly 12 ( KINS ): The healthcare workers are working extremely hard to protect us from the deadly COVID-19. They have risked their own lives fighting it and been away from their loved ones to do so.
In order to battle coronavirus, vaccination is an important weapon. As many people living in the urban areas are able to avail themselves of these services, it is extremely tough for those living in remote rural areas to get jabbed.
An instance of this is coming from Jammu and Kashmir. One of the healthcare workers is seen crossing the rapidly flowing river to carry out door-to-door vaccination in the nearby villages.
The clip was taken by Dr. Iram Yasmin, who is the in-charge of the Tralla Health Centre in a district. It was shared by the news agency ANI.
The first few seconds show a woman is trying to cross the river cautiously with all the vials with her. Then, another doctor joins in and gives her a hand so that she is able to cross the waterbody smoothly with all the vaccines intact.
The above-shared clip is one of the many examples showcasing the kind of adversity healthcare workers are battling to make sure everybody gets vaccinated to stay safe from the virus. We cannot thank them enough for their selfless gestures.
It is for this reason that the video has now gone viral on several social media platforms. On Twitter, it amassed 23,800 views on the microblogging site. The comments section was filled with netizens lauding their efforts. “Hats off. Thanks a lot. May God Bless You,” one user said.
Another one added, “Dedication level 100%.”
