DG Hospitality and Protocol given warm farewell on his retirement

 

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 31 ( KINS): After 40 years of dedicated service to the government of Jammu and Kashmir on various fronts, Director General Hospitality and Protocol Hashmat Ali Khan was given a warm send-off today on his superannuation.

Hashmat Ali Khan has held various important positions in different capacities during his illustrious career which include postings in Governor Secretariat, Chief Ministers’ Secretariat, Chief Secretary’s office and as Deputy Commissioner.

He began his career in the year 1981 and held various important posts and assignments and delivered the best of his experience and worked hard to refine the existing set-up particularly during his postings in Hospitality and Protocol department.

On his retirement, each of his colleagues narrated his contribution for Hospitality and Protocol department. They said that the entire Hospitality and Protocol department benefitted from the officer’s dynamic leadership and passion for both Administrative and practical reforms for the betterment of the departmental assets and employees also.

Recalling his services, they said that the smooth functioning of the department which include supervision of VVIP parties, visits, conferences, national functions etc during his tenure is evidence that the officer made it a priority to give generously of his time and experience simply to add the excellence in these occasions.

The employees at the Hospitality and Protocol department said they will never forget his contributions to the department. ( KINS)
