Recognition for Excellence: 480 DGPs Medals Announced for Outstanding Service

Jammu, December 31: In a commendable acknowledgment of outstanding service, Director General of Police (DGP) for Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, has announced the award of DGP’s Commendation Certificates and medals. A total of 480 recipients include 430 Police personnel/SPOs, 41 Army/BSF/CRPF/ITBP/SSB personnel, 08 civil officers/officials, and 01 civilian.

The recognition extends beyond mere commendation, as the civilian recipient is also being rewarded with a cash prize of rupees ten thousand for their noteworthy contributions.

Expressing his delight, DGP Swain conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to each awardee, emphasizing that this prestigious recognition is a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence. He lauded the dedication and hard work of the recipients, emphasizing that such efforts do not go unnoticed.

In his message, the DGP extended congratulations not only to the recognized individuals but also to their families, recognizing the support and sacrifice that often accompanies the commitment to public service. The awards serve as a fitting tribute to the meritorious and exemplary performances rendered by these individuals throughout the year 2023.
