Rana Inaugurates Rest House

Lays Foundation Stone of ₹1.86-Crore Water Supply Scheme

Jaran Wali Gali, September 12: Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs Minister Javed Ahmed Rana on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Rest House at Jaran Wali Gali and laid the foundation stone of a ₹185.58-lakh Water Supply Augmentation Scheme.

The Rest House, constructed at a cost of ₹45 lakh under UT CAPEX 2025-26, will facilitate field visits, inspections and monitoring of developmental works in the remote area.

The water supply scheme will strengthen the existing network and improve the availability and reliability of drinking water for residents of Jaran Wali Gali and adjoining habitations.

Rana, accompanied by Surankote MLA Choudhary Mohammad Akram Lassanvi and senior officials, stressed timely completion and quality execution of the projects, reiterating the government’s focus on basic infrastructure and balanced development in remote areas.
