Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS) is new DIG of Udhampur-Reasi Range

Srinagar, Jan 28: Rayees Mohammad Bhat, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Udhampur-Reasi Range. Previously serving as the DIG of the South Kashmir Range (SKR), Bhat brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.
Bhat’s appointment comes at a crucial time when the administration is focused on strengthening security measures and enhancing the effectiveness of policing across different parts of the state. His leadership and strategic approach are expected to contribute significantly to achieving these objectives in the Udhampur-Reasi Range.
During his tenure as the DIG of South Kashmir Range, Bhat demonstrated exemplary dedication and leadership in addressing various security challenges in the the region. Now, with his transfer to Udhampur-Reasi Range, he is poised to bring the same level of commitment and professionalism to his new jurisdiction.
