REASI: In a shocking incident, a young girl was allegedly raped by her father in a village of tehsil Thakrakot, under the jurisdiction of Arnas Police Station.
The incident took place on the intervening night of December 21-22 and in this connection, Police has registered a case under Section 376 RPC for further action while the accused was absconding.
The 18-year old victim today approached Police Station Arnas and lodged a written complaint stating that her father committed rape with her during the intervening night of December 21-22.
After registration of the case in this regard, Police has launched a hunt to nab the accused, who is absconding after committing the heinous act.
