People need good governance without bloodshed, resolution of Kashmir issue: JKCSCC

Srinagar, Jan 17 : Extending support to the top IAS officer, Shah Faesal, the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSCC) on Thursday said that people of Jammu and Kashmir require good governance without bloodshed and resolution of Kashmir issue.

Addressing a news conference here at Kashmir Press Club, JKCSCC members including Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, Advocate Mir Javaid and Jagmohan Singh Raina said that the successive legislators so far are responsible for everything that has happened in Kashmir.
They said that the civil society is focusing on good people to come out in the upcoming elections who will ensure protection of Article 370 and 35-A and safety of the rights of people.
Regarding the recent statements of Governor, Shah said there is contradiction in his statements as he is the chief of unified command and everything is happening on his directions. “No bullet is being fired without his directions,’ he said.
About Shah Faesal, Shah said they extend their support to him. “Personally, I extend my support to him as we want good people to come out to contest the elections. People of Kashmir want good governance without bloodshed and resolution of Kashmir issue,” he said.
The JKCSCC further asked Governor Satya Pal Malik to make people aware about the preparations of his administration over protecting Article 35-A at the top court of India.
JKCSCC said that the civil society has sought time from Governor Malik to discuss the preparations of state administration to protect Article 35-A.
