Rafiabad, May 26 : Hailstorm hit several areas of North Kashmir’s Sopore and Rafiabad on Sunday afternoon causing extensive damage to crops, apple orchards and vegetable fields.
Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth said that parts of Soppre and Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday witnessed heavy rains as well as hailstorm at around 2 : 30 PM, and continued for at least 10 minutes thereby resulted in the tremendous loss to farmers and fruit growers in parts of Rafiabad belt.
Pertinently, this is third time hailstorm hits parts of north Kashmir in this month.
