Police officer dies in Doda accident

Srinagar, Jun 29: A 45-year-old man died in a road accident that took place in Doda district on Saturday morning.

Reports identified the deceased as
Assistant Sub Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Vikram Singh.

Singh was on way to Kishtwar from Bhadarwah when his car skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda distric today morning.

The accident took place at Galgandhar on Pul Doda-Bhadarwah Highway, about 27 km from here, police said, adding that soon after he was taken to the hospital, Singh was declared brought dead by the doctors. (KNS)
