Amit Shah appoints state in-charges to counter oppostion’s anti-CAA campaign

Srinagar Jan 02: Union Home Minister Amit Shah while countering the opposition’s campaign against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)2019,has appointed state in-chargesto lead the party’s outreach program across the country.

Amit Shah along with party’s working president JP Nadda has appointed state in-charges to lead the party’s outreach program to counter opposition’s campaign against CAA.

As per reports, party leader HemandBiswa Sharma and Rahul Sinha will lead the party’s CAA outreach campaign in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odhisa and Northeast, while Anil Jain will has been appointed for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The trusted leader AvinashRaiKhanna has been handed over the task of presenting and promoting the party’s viewpoint in Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Delhi and Chattisgarh while SarojPandey has been tasked to coordinate in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Daman & Diu. Another trusted activist Suresh Bhatt has been asked to lead the program in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and J&K.

Party leader RavindraRaju will lead the task in the southern states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Kerala, Karnataka and Puducherry.

Amidst the massive protest over CAA across the country, BJP has also decided to hold a public campaign in order to aware masses regarding the law. The campaign will start from January 5 and continue till January 15. Party has set a target to reach around three crore families during the awareness campaign. Its parent outfit – the RSS – is likely to join BJP in the campaign. The government is further targeting to get the support of nearly one crore people in support of CAA.

To fulfill their target, BJP has formed different public relation groups to connect with people belonging to a several sections of society which includes Buddhist, Dalits and minorities. Party is also considering of holding a big rally at the end of the entire public awareness campaign.
