Teachers have to attend attend duties only suspension of class work: Dir Edu Kashmir

Srinagar, March 11: Director School Education Kashmir Muhammad Younis Malik Wednesday said only the class work has been suspended but teachers have to attend their duties.

“Class work has been suspended till March 31 but teachers have to go schools. They have to be available in schools although there will be no class work,” Director School Education Kashmir told Kashmir In Depth.

Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday announced suspension of class work in all the educational institutions across the Union Territory from Thursday till March 31, 2020 in wake of the deadly coronavirus epidemic.

Director National Health Mission (NHM), Bupinder Kumar said that it has been decided that the educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed till March 31.

The decision according to him has been taken as precautionary measure in wake of the deadly coronavirus epidemic.
