JKAP grieved over Kupwara incident

Expresses condolences on demise of party worker

SRINAGAR, July 4: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) on Saturday expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic incident that took place in the Kralpora area of Kupwara district in which four labourers lost their lives during digging of a well. The party has also extended condolences on the demise of Zubair Nazir Ahmad Bhat, one of the prominent workers of the party in Handwara.

In a joint statement issued here, Abdul Rashid Bhat and advocate Mir Javed have urged the district administration and labour department to disburse immediate ex gratia relief to the four labourers who lost their lives while on work in Kralpora area in Kupwara.

“It is a heart wrenching incident that has snatched the precious four lives in Warsun-Dardpora-Kralpora area of Kupwara. JKAP is in solidarity with the bereaved families and prays for eternal peace to the departed souls,” the JKAP leaders observed.

The party also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Zubair Nazir Ahmad Bhat, a 22-year old youth who passed away after a massive heart attack in Braripora Handwara. The JKAP leaders expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
