Police Sports Festival updates

Srinagar, Oct 26 (KINS): As a part of Police Sports Festival, twelve matches of Volleyball, Football and Cricket were played at Khushaal Stadium Tulibal & MET ground Sopore, four matches of Martyr Altaf Memorial T-20 Police Premier Cricket League were played at Qamaria Stadium Ganderbal and Shallabugh ground.

On the 5th day of ongoing sports festival organised by Sopore Police today twelve different matches of Volley Ball, Football and Cricket were played at Khushaal Stadium Tulibal and MET ground Sopore.

Volley Ball matches were played between Khahmoh Volleyball Club v/s Zaingeer Volleyball Club, DPL Sopore v/s All star Sangrama, Rohama Volleyball Club v/s Cool Guys Bakhipora, IR 3rd C Coy v/s Young Boys Tarzoo, Zaloora Volleyball Club v/s Seer B and Hathlangoo Volleyball Club v/s Amargrah Volleyball Club which were won by Zaingeer Volleyball Club, DPL Sopore, Rohama Volleyball Club, Young Boys Tarzoo, Zaloora Volleyball Club and Amargrah Volleyball Club.

Football matches were played between Sultan Aadipora v/s Jhelum Doabgah, FC Hathlangoo v/s Gund Kareem Khan and FC Budden v/s FC Saripora which were won by Jhelum Doabgah, Gund Kareem Khan and FC Budden.

Cricket matches were played between City Sports Sopore v/s RCC Arampora, Pangong Reds v/s Doabgah 11 and ACC Tarzoo v/s XOP Challengers which were won by City Sports Sopore, Pangong Reds and ACC Tarzoo.

Similarly, Martyr Altaf Memorial T-20 Police Premier Cricket League-2020 organised by Ganderbal Police on 8th Oct (Thursday) 2020 at Qamaria Stadium continued for the 19th day and four matches were played today.

First match was played between Young 11 Saloora V/S Emerging 11 Reshipora at Qamaria stadium. Young XI Saloora won the match by 68 runs and Showkat Ahmad was declared Man of the match. He took 4 wickets and gave only 17 runs in his 4 over quota.

Second match at Qamaria Stadium was played between Valley Stars V/S Kirmania Warriors. Valley Stars won the match by 7 wickets and Aaqib Manzoor was declared Man of the match for his 22* runs knock and he also took 2 wickets.

At Shallabugh ground two matches were played. First match was played between Hamdania Cricket Club VS FCC Safapora. Hamdania Cricket Club won by 23 runs. Parvaiz Ahmad was declared Man of the Match, he knocked 50 runs of 34 balls. Second match was played between R Blues VS Kumar XI Dab. R Blues won the match by 7 runs. Aabid Khan was declared Man of the Match, he knocked 68 runs of 40 balls.(KINS)
