Cultural Wing DIPR holds Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour  

JAMMU, JULY 10(KINS): Cultural Wing Jammu, Department of Information and Public Relations(DIPR) in collaboration with Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir Amarvilla organised a webinar on covid appropriate behavior, here today.

Principal, Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir Jammu, Ranju Malhotra was the Chief Guest and Joint Director Information, Jammu, Namrita Dogra was guest of honour.  Parul Khajuria, Cultural Officer, DIPR Jammu and  Nidhi Sambyal, Coordinator of the school    Coordinated the event.

Shrutika Kesar, Priyanka Saproo and Sunna Syal acted as the panel of judges.

In all, 10 students expressed their views and experiences about the importance of following Covid Appropriate Behaviour.  Rashi got 1st position, Akanksha got 2nd and 3rd was bagged by Anmol besides Consolation prizes were presented to   Sabhyata and Jaspreet.

Earlier, the welcome address was presented  by Nidhi Sambyal and program proceedings were conducted by the Senior Cultural Assistant, Suresh Sharma. Songs and jingles were presented by artists of the Cultural wing.

The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of Information Department especial Cultural Wing for holding such thought provoking events.

The Principal hoped that the department will organise more such awareness programmes to educate the masses about the importance of covid appropriate behavior.  The Principal advised the students to follow  covid-19 safety protocols to contain its spread.

Ranju Malhotra also thanked the artists of Cultural Wing of DIPR Jammu for  adding a musical note to the awareness programme. The Vote of thanks was presented by the Drama Artist, Vijay Anand. (KINS)
