Four govt employees suspended in Poonch for alleged corruption

Jammu, SEPT 20 (KINS) The Poonch Administration has suspended four government employees on Monday in alleged embezzlement in construction works in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said that four officials are placed under suspension in connection with alleged misappropriation and embezzlement in at least five constructions in Halqa Panchayat Gursai Moori in Block Mendhar.

They said that enquiry committee has also been constituted into the allegations.

“Consequent to the preliminary inquiry, the role (four) employees is found suspicious whereby irregularities and misappropriation and embezzlement occurred there,” read the order.

A committee comprising BDO, AE Subdivision, Surankote and SO Planning Block Mendhar has been  constituted to enquire into complaint forwarded by ACB Jammu on September 14, they said.
