Amity meeting organized by Indian Army

Jammu Sep: 24 ( KINS)  Indian Army organised an “Amity Meeting” at Hanjanwali in District Rajouri (J&K). The meeting was aimed at enhancing contact with AWAAM and to have better understanding with locals. Important issues concerning the Village populace to include welfare, education and religious harmony were discussed during the meet.  During the event, the participants were also informed about the various skill development programs being run by Indian Army for women and youth empowerment. The spirit and self-discipline of villagers were applauded in restricting the spread of COVID-19. During the meeting attendees were also informed about various other welfare activities that, the Indian Army could conduct in order to assist the locals in improving their quality of life. The villagers applauded the support provided by the Indian Army in overall development of the area.( KINS)
