Indian Army celebrates World Tourism Day

Jammu: 28 Sep ( KINS):The World Tourism Day program is annual event which is celebrated globally every year, on 27th Sep 2021, to highlight significance of tourism and its social, cultural and economic significance around the world. Tourism is one of the most enticing business Sector contributing to a large chunk of the global economy and socio cultural political harmony. This is also why the nation across the globe are promoting domestic as well as cross border tourism. This day is observed with great pomp and zeal by Govt, tourism companies and enthusiasts and other tourism – related enterprises across the globe. A midst the lingering permits of the pandemic, the world tourism industry has suffered tremendously to bring the fervor and spontaneity of tourism back in to the game, the theme for world tourism day 2021 has been designated to celebrate “Tourism for inclusive growth”. This is highly appropriate at a time when the global tourism industry is trying to make a comeback and register positive growth. The world tourism day 2021 offers an opportunity to re-envisage the importance of tourism in our lives as well as the global economy. It is the time we create the zeal around tourism to triumph over all predicaments and redesign the future of tourism on both at local as well as global scale. Total of 45 Students including 27 Boys 18 Girls attended the world tourism event organised at Gulabgarh and Asthanmarg in District Kishtwar (J&K). The aim of the event is to boost the tourism at the grass root level by making the youth aware of local tourist spots in our AOR. (KINS)
