Khalid Jehangir convenes 192nd Board Meeting of JKSSB

 

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 22 ( KINS): The Chairman J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB), Khalid Jahangir has convened the 192nd Board Meeting of the J&K SSB in his office Chamber, here.

During the meeting, Selection Lists for the post of Compiler, Finance Department, Technical Assistant/Technician, (GMC), Baramulla and certain other pending selections were considered and discussed for deliberation/decision.

After extensive discussion, the Board approved the Selection Lists for 120 posts of Compilers, Finance Department and 08 posts of Technical Assistant/Technician of GMC, Baramulla and decided to return 02 posts to the concerned Indenting Department, as the selections could not be finalized due to various deficiencies/non-availability of eligible candidates.

The selection for the post of Compiler, Finance Department and Technical Assistant, GMC, Baramulla was subject matter of separate court cases which were recently disposed of in favour of JKSSB and, consequently, the selection lists were processed for placing before the Board for an appropriate decision.

The meeting was attended by Mohammad Shafiq Chak, Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, Pritam Lal Atri, Harvinder Kour, Ashiq Hussain Lily, Neelam Khajuria, and Narayan Dutt, Members of the J&K Services Selection Board; Mr. Ashok Kumar, Controller of Examination, Jang Bahadur, Special Secretary, Law,  Sachin Jamwal, Secretary, J&K Services Selection Board,  Suhail Muzaffar, Additional Secretary (Law), Vinay Khosla, Deputy Secretary.

Mamta Rajput, Administrative officer, Divisional Officer, J&K Services Selection Board and other officers of J&K Services Selection Board also participated in the said meeting.( KINS)
