DC Srinagar chairs DLIC meeting for finalization of beneficiaries under BOCWWB

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 23: ( KINS) A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) regarding verification of cases of beneficiaries registered under J&K Building and Other Construction Works Welfare Board (BOCWWB) was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Srinagar, Mohammad AIjaz Asad here today.

On the occasion, the Chairman DLIC (DDC) held a detailed discussion with regard to the verification of cases of beneficiaries registered under J&K Building and Other Construction Works Welfare Board(BOCWWB) and stressed on time bound verification process to ensure timely disbursement of financial assistance in favour of eligible genuine beneficiaries.

The DDC also constituted a Sub Committee of the Officers of different line departments headed by Additional District Development Commissioner to pace up the verification process and timely disbursement of financial assistance in favour of registered BOCW under various Welfare schemes including Marriage Assistance, Educational Assistance, Death & Funeral Assistance, Disability and Chronic diseases etc.

Additional District Developmental Commissioner, Srinagar, Gulzar Ahmad Shabnum, Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Yaseen Lone,  Assistant  Commissioner Labour Department, District Panchayat Officer and Officers of Revenue and Employment Departments were present in the meeting.( KINS)
