Northern army commander pays tribute to martyred army personnel

Srinagar, Dec 24:Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi paid heartfelt tributes to the Army personnel who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Poonch on December 22.
Laying wreaths, Lt Gen Dwivedi expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyrs. The wreath ceremony was attended by fellow officers, soldiers, and dignitaries, creating a somber atmosphere as the nation mourns the loss of its heroes.
The Army Commander highlighted the courage and dedication exhibited by the soldiers during the tragic incident, emphasizing the sacrifices made in the line of duty to protect the nation. He stated that the entire military community stands in solidarity with the families of the fallen and assured them of unwavering support.
Lt Gen Dwivedi reiterated the Army’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region. He called for a collective effort to thwart terrorism and expressed confidence in the resilience of the armed forces.
