Srinagar, Jan 25: On the occasion of Republic Day 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Police once again demonstrated exemplary valor and dedication, emerging as the top recipient of gallantry medals. A total of 72 gallantry medals were awarded to the J&K Police, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
Among other notable recipients, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) received 65 gallantry medals, followed by Maharashtra Police with 18 medals, Chhattisgarh Police with 26 medals, Jharkhand Police with 23 medals, Odisha Police with 15 medals, Delhi Police with 8 medals, and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) with 21 medals.
The commendable achievements of the J&K Police and individual recipients were lauded by authorities and citizens alike, underscoring their unwavering courage and service to the nation.
