IAS Officer Shah Faesal Reflects on Pulwama Attack: Calls it “Pakistan’s Waterloo”

Srinagar, Feb 14: Shah Faesal, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, took to Twitter to reflect on the significance of the Pulwama attack, stating, “I was at Rajbagh on that fateful day. When the news broke that 40 @crpfindia bravehearts have been martyred, my heart told me at that very moment only that Pulwama would become Pakistan’s Waterloo. And so it did. Lethpora changed the course of J&K’s history. RIP #pulwama”
Faesal’s tweet encapsulates the gravity of the Pulwama attack, which occurred on February 14, 2019, when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a convoy of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack resulted in the loss of 40 brave CRPF soldiers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack.
In a tweet, Home Minister said, “India will forever be grateful of our bravehearts and their families who made supreme sacrifice for the sovereignty and integrity of our motherland.”
