JK Tops National Road Safety Month Rankings with 1369 Awareness Events, Says Transport Commissioner

Srinagar, Feb 14: Jammu and Kashmir’s Transport Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, proudly announced that the union territory has clinched the top position in the nation during the National Road Safety Month.
According to Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir achieved this milestone by hosting a staggering 1369 road safety events and awareness programs throughout the month. This remarkable feat has positioned Jammu and Kashmir ahead of all other states and union territories in India.

The comprehensive array of initiatives undertaken by Jammu and Kashmir’s transport authorities underscored their commitment to promoting road safety and preventing accidents on the region’s roads.
