Divisional Commissioner Jammu & ADGP Jammu Review Traffic Measures on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway

Srinagar, Feb 28: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh kumar IAS, and ADGP Jammu, Anand jain IPS, jointly presided over a crucial meeting aimed at assessing the effectiveness of measures implemented by stakeholder agencies to ensure seamless traffic flow along the Dalwas-Ramban stretch of the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
The meeting, held to address persistent challenges in traffic management along this vital highway corridor, witnessed a comprehensive review of existing strategies and proposed interventions. Emphasizing the significance of efficient traffic management, the officials underscored the importance of collaborative efforts among all stakeholders to enhance the commuter experience and mitigate potential risks.
During the session, various aspects such as road maintenance, enforcement of traffic regulations, and deployment of personnel and resources were thoroughly evaluated. Both officials stressed the need for proactive measures to address congestion points, streamline traffic flow, and promptly respond to emergencies along the route.
Divisional Commissioner and ADGP reiterated their commitment to enhancing the efficiency and safety of traffic operations on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
