Anantnag Police Make Major Strides in War Against Drug Peddling: Seven Peddlers Apprehended, Large Narcotics Cache Seized

Srinagar, Apr 19: In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing battle against drug peddling, Anantnag Police have successfully apprehended seven individuals involved in narcotics trafficking.
The arrests were made by five different police stations within the district, each contributing to the concerted effort to combat the illicit drug trade.
Following intensive operations and surveillance, law enforcement authorities were able to confiscate a substantial consignment of narcotic substances from the possession of the apprehended individuals. The seized narcotics represent a significant blow to the illegal drug network operating within the region.
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and investigations have been initiated to uncover further links and dismantle the network involved in drug trafficking.
